Basic but completely adequate accommodations with some nice homey touches that make you feel at home and comfortable. Nice to have breakfast onsite instead of receiving a coupon for a local cafe. Even better to find fruit, yoghurt, juice and cereal available in addition to pastries. Would stay again.
The check in time is before 10am. The host graciously was available at 845pm to let us in.... for a fee. He did try to be helpful with an App that recommends restaurants, etc. and he did try to help look up possible bus transportation to the Rome Airport which we needed at 2am. (Hint, the TAM BUS at the Termini is the ticket for night time ride to the Airport - just 9 Euros/per person---- During the day take the Leonardo Train 15 Euros each). The water was able to be very hot (scalding) but the water pressure was barely adequate. If you briefly used the sink or flushed the toilet, the water temp in the shower gets much hotter and pressure goes down to a drizzle. The room is quite small and the bed is a double bed (not two twins=king size like most of the budget rooms we rented). The room we had did have a small balcony to a small enclosed terrace area. There is a continental breakfast of a croissant and cereal and juice and coffee, included. The hotel is an 8 minute walk from Rome Termini (train/bus station)....longer if you're dragging your suit case along.
The breakfast pastries were awesome! Our host was very accommodating and the shuttle services were very useful/easy to use. I would happily recommend this place to anyone.
Staff was great. Antonio and Lucia were very helpful and accommodating.

Although it is located in a fairly good location and walkable distance from a few attractions, Room was quite small and the accommodation had too many unnecessary rules
Very compact but has everything you could possibly need. Clean , comfortable and near restaurants, transportation and sites to see. Host was very accommodating.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice location, easy walk to Termini station.
Great stay in Rome. Very close to the colosseum and the Monti neighbourhood. Almost all the important sightings in Rome are in walking distance. The room was nice and clean. Perfect stay for your trip to Rome
Very cute bnb, the location is perfect because it’s just a few minutes from the main station by walk. Antonio welcomed me very well. The price is very good compared to others. The room is silent. The bathroom is clean and functional. There is a charming shared kitchen for the breakfast ( included) Thank you!
We had a great stay at Rhome86. It has a great central location close to the metro and many bus stops. Our host Antonio was very kind, helpful and easy to communicate with all throughout the day. The room was clean and comfortable.
We would return in the future.
Arrived around 1:30pm and was accommodated on the check in time which was appreciated. We were only here for a night prior to flying out of Rome the next day, but wish we had stayed here 2 weeks prior when we were in Rome for an extended period of time. Host was very friendly and helpful. There was an issue with the A/C (to be expected, it was 40degress outside) and he was very concerned we would not be comfortable so he offered to refund us at not cost. We ended up staying as it there was still some A/C and we didn’t want to lug our bags again. This cute little place was great! Comfy bed and pillow, clean. Nice croissants, juice and options for coffee in the morning all included. Don’t need anything more for breakfast than that to be honest. It was great! The area at night was debatable…. Probably wouldn’t go out at night to be honest but otherwise I felt safe throughout the day and getting there after dinner.
Had problems with Expedia's pass through communication. Because it's a B&B there is no desk. I was not sure what time we would check in, and Expedia did forward my reply to his query. When we arrived we were not able to enter because I did not have a phone number, and did not see the tiny name in the door bell. It would have been nice if 1) he gave me his contact info, 2) he said to ring his door bell when we arrived. It was a very small bed room and shower, but I rented it only 2 days before we arrived and it was his last available space. So no complaints. Nice location - 5 blocks to train terminal, 8 or 9 blocks to the Coliseum, a few nice restaurants 5 or 6 blocks away. We came in on a Sunday afternoon and all the little shops were closed and rollup doors pulled down and there was a lot of graffitti everywhere so we were woied about the neighborhood, but is was not a problem.
