If you are interested in watching TV, (we were not that interested) be sure to know how to use a smart TV. Montauk State Park is not that far away if you are interested in trout fishing. There is a beautiful fire pit, so get some firewood. Also, charcoal for the grill and you’re all set:"

"The listing said there was WiFi but it never worked for us. I reached out to the owner and my concern was not acknowledged. If I had been traveling while working this would have been terrible, as I have to have WiFi for my remote work. I’m okay if I don’t need it, but if the listing says it’s there and find out it’s not, that bothers me a bit and makes me a little uneasy. We lost power, it came back on pretty quick. The cabin is cute and cozy. The views are incredible!"

The kitchen was well stocked and were able to prepare breakfast/supper, the BBQ grill and fire pit out front were appreciated! We saw deer and turkeys. The hosts were in contact with us for any need that might come up, but we really didn't need a thing."
