“Older building but kept well, very clean! The people were ALL welcoming and friendly.”

“Much more basic than when it was a Comfort Inn. New ownership has removed the pool and hot breakfast. Breakfast items were stale. We’ve stayed here several times in the past but will likely consider other options.”

It's disgusting the photos are Google images. A woman was screaming at people from the lobby "I want money!" It was insane and the trash was everywhere, literally.”

“Salem Historic Downtown VRBO was exactly as described. It was close to downtown, and not far to walk or drive to eating locations. The three bedrooms, two bathrooms, desk room, TV room, laundry room, and kitchen, were all very clean. If we ever have a reason to go back to Salem, VA., this is the first place I would check to see if it would be available. A MUST RENT IF YOU'RE STAYING IN SALEM, VA.”

“The room had an obvious disinfectant smell… ..the light in the shower/toilet section of the bathroom did not work… and there was no shower curtain… so when taking a shower— water was all over the floor…”

“The hotel is brand new; beautiful and everything is clean and sparkling. My only complaint is that I booked a regular single king room but was put in a double queen handicap accessible room. The hotel was nowhere near full, so I don't understand this change in room types.”
