This is my 3rd stay this year at the Don Miguel. A lovely hotel which is made by the friendly staff. I would have given a 5 star review but the evening meal choice seems to have deteriorated since my last stay. Breakfast is great with good selections.

Well located with excellent staff. Half the hotel is accessible and refurbished. The other half is a long walk through many corridors and stairs leading to room with holes in bath filled with poly-fillet, fans hanging from ceiling. On the bright side the beds are amazingly comfy and house keeping are very flexible in timing.

Wonderful holiday in Maspalomas

Just wonderful ! Stayed for few nights, June 2025. Great location. nice, cozy and perfect clean rooms; swimming pool. very friendly and helpful staff. Recommend to book half board, and you will enjoy superb dinners, compliments to the chef ! 100% recommended, we look forward to come back !

This is the second time that I have stayed at the Don Miguel this year and I will keep coming back. The reception staff are so helpful and tge staff in the restaurant are lovely. Great pool area and terrace with good quality live entertainment in the evenings. Great place central to the Yumbo and just a short walk to bus stops to get to the beach or anywhere else on the island.

Excellent facilities and value for money

I extended by stay twice as was very comfortable at the hotel which offered excellent facilities and value for money. I’d return the the town and would stay here again for sure.

Tired hotel in need of refurbishment

The hotel is a little frayed at the edges, the staff are great apart from the pool staff whom let chair reservations run a muck. Too many guests for the size of pool area and breakfast room

Good hotel. All the staff are nice, always smile and polite. The room was a good size, some minor details on the bathroom that need to be repaired, but not a big deal. The only problem for me was the street which was really busy even night time and I couldn't sleep good because of the passing cars, rubbish trucks or some late party people shouting. The restaurant was big and clean. Food amazing. Huge choice for every taste. The pool area big and spacious as well. A lot of sunbeds. The hotel is around 15 minutes walking distance from the beach. Plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and shopping centres around

Nice and decent hotel. The gym could be better (I.e. more equipment, only one treadmill and shortage of dumbbells), but good breakfast, pool area and room. Close to yumbo center and conveniently located. It’s a quite big hotel and the rooms can be somewhat of a far walk which could be easily changed if they opened certain access points in the doors/fences to the hotel that remained locked.

Good standard 3☆ hotel

Travelled as a couple, took the no 66 bus from the airport, very easy. Nice welcome, as we arrived early we were shown a room to change to use the pool facilities. Lots of sunbeds available. Very reasonably priced drinks. Lovely room overlooking the pool

Great food, friendly service

Overall a great stay - it was above our expectations. Service was great all round. Food was the highlight. Because the hotel doesn't offer All Inclusive, you can really tell they haven't had to cut back on the food quality. Lots of protein options every night, and it wasn't a fight to get a decent piece of meat or fish! Great selection that changed every night we were there (a week)

Large hotel with a central location. My room was relatively small, and had a balcony facing the back towards the tennis court. Unfortunately no sun during the whole day. Previously I have had rooms here facing the pool, which gives a much better experience. Breakfast and dinner are quite good, with a varied selection. The coffee machines in the hotel should be replaced, as they do not make good coffee. Otherwise the hotel appears to be a classic 3 star hotel with friendly staff.

Everything but the breakfast

My third time at this hotel and I enjoyed this stay as much as the previous. All in all very good value for money. My only suggestion for improvement concerns the breakfast buffet: it's huge and generous but nothing tastes REALLY good. That said I ate from it every day.

I stayed at The Don Miguel for 19 nights from 16th June to 5th July and as a single traveller I enjoyed my stay. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. I booked half board and a twin room with pool view. The Hotel is very clean and my room was very comfortable and had a good sized balcony. I found the breakfast selection of food to be very good with plenty of choice. The evening meal also had a good choice of food. The pool was a good size and there were plenty of sunbeds available. The pool area was kept clean and tidy. I will definately be going back to stay at this hotel.

Servatur Don Miguel - I will return.

Next door to the Yumbo Center & centrally located. Staff are all super helpful from reception to waiting and chambermaid staff. Lovely swimming pool and real value for money snack bar. Breakfast was excellent, it was more of a banquet than buffet as advertised. Fantastic four poster sun loungers by the crystal clear pool. Strong Wi-fi both in rooms and around the entire hotel and It was free. Great stay and we will return without doubt. Booked flights and hotel separately which constituted as saving of around £400+ on the equivalent package deals being offered. Stay here - you will not regret it.😁😁😁

So this looks nice on the website, but don’t be fooled, so the hotel reception is lovely and clean and the staff are friendly, but my room had a Balcony and a view of the Main Road out of town, The food is rubbish if I had known I wouldn’t of payed Togo half board, The Hotel Room and the hotel could do with a bit of money spent on it, I had cracked tiles in my bathroom, the room looked very tired and needed a over haul. The road outside was quite noisy so I didn’t get a very good sleep at night as the patio doors was not double glazed.

Wonderful location, very, very helpful and accommodating staff, We enjoyed the facilities so much that we actually spent three of our six days on the island just resting and relaxing around the pool area… The worst part, (and likely speaking for English and American tourists generally), would be that the eggs and potatoes served for breakfast every morning, were basically cold the first two mornings before I realized this was the norm…such a waste of food! Then, as we ate lunch on the patio overlooking the pool 4 days, it was really disappointing that the first day we had a Caprese salad, so we had a Caprese salad every day and the tomatoes went from being beautiful ripen red to almost pale, pink orange hard, and the balsamic vinegar was pretty much nonexistent, as it had been poured earlier and had seed into the cheese point that you could barely taste it … Only mentioning it because we ordered it four days because the first one was so good. We felt that each following day that was worse might be followed by a day where they found great tomatoes and made it fresh or at least poured the balsamic vinegar fresh.
