“This is a wonderful property especially if you have kids. The views are spectacular from every single room and space. We enjoyed the outside fireplace, the dock and all of the amenities. The kitchen was well stocked and everything we needed was provided. I would stay here again and again.”

“We couldn’t get enough of the Fantastic views! We do a guys trip each year, and while some of the guys missed being able to stay connected, others enjoyed the time away from everything. The internet is as bad as they claim, but it was nice to disconnect and spend quality time with friends. Great host! While he wasn’t nearby, he answered all of our questions very quickly! We will keep this place in mind for future trips.”

“We had an incredible stay on Lake Fontana! The house is even better in person than you can imagine. ALL the amenities you could hope for. Renting the pontoon boat was a highlight of the trip. “My husband and some friends of ours stayed for a long weekend and greatly enjoyed this home! It was very dog friendly but still very clean unlike some places we have gone to with our dog before. The host Robert was great with communication prior to our stay and posted very helpful check out instructions in his home that made everything very clear. The view was amazing and despite being more remote we had great internet access via WiFi.”

“My friends and I came to the area for a fly fishing trip in the Nantahala. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and the location was perfect with access to the river just minutes away to the lower river and the delayed harvest section. The cabin has a nice wrap around patio to chill and listen to the relaxing creek just below and also made good use of the grill. I look forward to returning to this area and will book again if available.”

“Our family enjoyed being reconnected with nature and each other. The mountain retreat was the perfect place to gather and leave our busy and sometimes too programmed lives behind. Bring yourselves and pack just basics and you’ll be all set. The house is generously furnished with so many amenities. Beautiful home, not the right décor for being at the lake in the mountains, but the overall layout of the home was nice and loved having the downstairs pretty private to the rest of the home. Nice view of the lake, love that we could walk the little Island where Town of Lake Santeetlah was, so peaceful!
