“The property was clean and the recent improvements were very nice. The amenities were complete with nice extra touches. The location was great and you could watch giant freighters go by your backyard. It is not handicap accessible.”

“This is an entire small house. Not that small actually. Everything you need and then some. We really needed to do laundry on our long roadtrip and were able to use the washer and dryer m-great help. Huge TV with streaming. Also a driveway where you can back right up to the entry door…sweet. Didn’t have time to enjoy the hot tub but would be a nice feature. Loved the fenced in back yard as we are traveling with the dog. Wish we could have stayed longer.”

“We enjoyed our stay. The home was well maintained, clean, comfortable and had all the comforts of home. It had a spectacular view of the river, and it was so relaxing watching the river activity. We will be back!”

“I really loved this VRBO! It’s perfect for one or two people, very comfy, loved having a washer and dryer. Tammy and David are excellent hosts. I will stay there again! It’s close to town and yet far enough so it’s quiet.Beautiful interior, awesome TV. Cute kitchen, nice bedroom and bathroom. Had a nice air conditioner also.”

“Room was clean and was as described. The one thing if I had to be picky is the main bathroom had no outlets and the second bedroom half the outlets didn’t work. Other than that it was cozy, clean and very quiet.”

“I am so happy I discovered The Ash. The price was comparable to the big chain hotels in the area, and the additional space to spread out made me feel at home. I was very comfortable there. Like the owners, I love the romance of these old motor court-style motels, and I love what they've done to bring new life to this charming property. If I ever return to the Soo this is definitely my go-to vacation home.”
