"Nice location in Duck for the beach and visiting the city but mr. Nor'eastern was at the beach this weekend, heavy wind with rain blowing sideways. It help showed that a few house maintenance is needed. Replacing front door with seal strip is a must. Had to put up towels to keep the heavy wind out. Loved that all the lights outlets were labeled for you and the bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything needed to cook some bean soup and cornbread. We'll definitely stay again "

"The pictures listed for the property were an accurate description of what to expect. The house is welcoming, clean, and cozy. If you are looking for a place were you can walk out to the beach from your backdoor, this is the place. We woke up each morning to watch the sunrise and saw spectacular views. The house is within walking distance (less than 1 mile) to Duck where there were many food and shopping options. Bud and Janice were wonderful hosts. Their communication was swift and extremely helpful. We will definitely be back!"

"The house was excellent. The house was very clean and the host was perfect .our family and dog loved it . The only one thing that I found that needs fixing . The outside grill could use a upgrade . One burner didn’t work and the ignition button wouldn’t work. We would definitely stay there again."

"This was our first time visit going the Outer Banks. It was early September, after Labor Day, which is our favorite time to visit the beach. The house is beautiful- the yard, th pool, the hot tub, perfect! It was very clean and very close to the beach (less than a 5 minute walk to the ocean) the beach was beautiful, but rough during our visit. The town of Duck is adorable with great shopping and a good variety of restaurants to choose from. We especially loved the ample space in the house and the many porches to enjoy. The only thing we would have loved more was some more sunny days! We went to Corolla and saw the wild horses and to Nags Head to ride horses on the beach. All in all a fabulous week! Highly recommend! "
