I’ve stayed here at the cottage numerous times when I’ve come out to visit my kids in Burien. It always feels just like my home away from home. Very comfortable and quiet, but also right around the corner from lots of great restaurants and shopping.

I love this little studio apartment
It looked exactly like the listing and had everything i needed for a 2week stay to visit my grandchildren. It was a 10 min walk to the bus stop that took me to my son's neighborhood in White Center. Even when it was drizzling it wasn't bad. It's less than 3 min walk to food and some cute shops and 10 min to a clean and welcoming local park where i could practice my pickleball skills on my time off. Just about 15 min in Uber to the airport when i left. Bed was comfy, heat was adjustable. No hot plate but there is a microwave and a fridge. It was perfect for me and i will stay there again when i go for a visit!

I think we’ve actually stayed here half a dozen times to visit family close by. The place is very comfortable, quiet and cozy. Burien is walk able with two great bakeries and many great places to eat. A+++

Burien WA stay
Our stay was what we had wanted it to be. Relaxed in a safe, comfortable, place accessible to the town by foot , exploring restaurants, shops, meeting local folks, etc. we were able to plan our days including Seattle by driving then coming back to a quiet , place. A gem of a place if you are open to new things, people, etc. I would come back and recommend to friends! Hosts were as nice!

Perfect place to stay near Seattle
This adorable unit is perfect for 2! The location is less than 10 minutes from the Seattle airport and less than 2 hours to Mount Ranier, 45 minutes from whale watching in Edmonds, and has shops and great restaurants within walking distance. Burien is a perfect place to be close to everything but away from crowds and traffic. Will definitely stay here again on future trips to the PNW!!!

Loved this little place!
I had the best time staying here! Old Burien was a new area for me and I fell in loved. I enjoyed walking around the corner to restaurants and shops. I felt like a regular in no time. The unit is clean and in good shape. The bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have a small fridge (bigger than hotel size) and microwave. I really appreciated having a coffee pot WITH coffee and creamer available. The bathroom is nice too - with clean fluffy towels. There is access to laundry, which was helpful. Suzanne was very responsive to texts and overall a wonderful host! I can’t wait to come back.

Cute. Cozy. A psychedelic window. The patron saint of bakers, brides and beggars watches over your door. Quiet. Peaceful. Patient drivers on these streets. Take a short walk for a proper burger at the Little Chicken. A Breakfast at Australian Pies. Get a notebook at that bookstore. Write your own masterpiece. Ten or so minutes drive to Pike Place and the all the rest of Seattle from there. A short walk to the bus terminal for a pleasant commute overlooking the Cascades range in the distance. Or explore the immediate area and Discover Burian. All The Stars!

Fine convenient studio apt.
We stayed here 4 weeks in February. Suzanne was quick to solve any issues that came up - like dead batteries or low supplies. It was a short walk to several restaurants (our favorite was Royal Everest). The unit had all we needed in a small space. We cooked breakfast daily with the microwave, made lunches, and ate takeout for dinner. The electric heat, lighting, USB outlets, and internet were good. Water from the tap tasted good. We watched a lot of Prime Video movies in bed to end our busy days, sitting up against the convenient double size wedge pillow. The tv screen is not huge, so it's easier to read movie descriptions from the couch if you have old eyes. We would return.
