I booked through Expedia for 2 adults and my 8-year-old niece. The process was easy, but I was only able to enter all information. I checked several times before arrival for additional requirements and even received confirmation that we were good to go.
At check-in, I was suddenly told I needed a notarized parental consent letter for my niece. This was never communicated during booking or before arrival. I fully support this policy and appreciate safeguards for minors. My issue is the lack of communication. I traveled from another country and arrived on a Sunday, leaving me scrambling to find a notary while my niece and her grandmother were crying. Thankfully, I somehow found one. This could have easily been avoided with proper pre-arrival communication.
The resort is nice and well maintained, but felt basic for “Prive Ultra All Inclusive” and 5-star luxury. Pool/aquapark hours are limited, the beach is small, and poolside service needs improvement. I waited an hour for drinks that never came. One bartender was also unnecessarily rude when I requested a mocktail for my niece.
Food was good with plenty of variety, and we enjoyed the dance show and Emrah. Special recognition to Noel in Guest Relations—warm, professional and genuinely caring. She made our stay better.
Would I return? Sure, but with more realistic expectations. Nice resort, just not quite the luxury experience I expected.
