"We really appreciated the ability to use the laundry room. We used it twice during our stay. The rooms were nice with a beautiful view from the balcony, but definitely could have been cleaner ahead of our check in."

"Beautiful l, spacious and comfortable apartment above Piazza Costello with a beautiful view of Lake Maggiore. Apartment is a bit difficult to locate. Parking is limited and distant. Once we arrived at the apartment, our trip was most enjoyable. "

"Our 3 kids enjoyed the pool and the restaurant was excellent. It was also very handy having the option to reserve your bakery order for pickup each morning along with take out pizzas. Very comfortable 3 nights and the town of Ascona was lovely"

"Lovely little property in Lenno, excellent directions, clean apartment with comfortable bed. On the Greenway trail (walking path to ther towns). Very close to Lake Como, with boat stop in Lenno (limited service), much more options for ferries/water taxi just north in Cadenabbia. Only downside is you really need a car to get around (which we had); onsite parking is provided."

"Staff allowed our whole family to relax in the spa since our room wasn’t ready. Only downside was that my daughter got bit by a poisonous spider and it caused her to not be able to walk with shoes. This happened at the villas, not the hotel bc it was just opening for the season and probably had a lot of bugs hiding out. They gave us champagne on arrival and staff was super kind to us. "

"Für unseren Besuch des Moon and Stars in Locarno sind wir im Hotel Sasso Boretto abgestiegen. Schon der Empfang war ausgesprochen freundlich, das gesamte Personal war zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Moon and Stars zu besuchen macht aber angesichts der enormen Preise nicht mehr wirklich Spass, haben wir doch für unser Zimmer doppelt so viel bezahlt, wie es sonst kosten würde. "Good apartment, good host, small town with everything nearby. Really good. It was a little bit warm and without a fan was not so comfortable, but for 1 or 2 nights was ok. The host gave us some excellent tipps where to eat and visit, it was great. "

"The onsite restaurant for breakfast was perfect; staff was very friendly. The room was a perfect size. My only negative was that the AC was weak, the towel rack in the bathroom was at shoulder heights and me and spouse kept hitting our heads, the the shower pan floor was super slippery and the shower head was poorly placed. Overall though, worth the price based on amenities and location. Walking distance to the lake and self-serve laundry which was great for us. "
