"It was a pleasure to stay in such a historic facility (built by the CCC) showing excellent craftmanship and pride in the work performed and that it has been so well maintained. Our cabin was comfy and cozy and very clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to try the restaurant, but the offerings looked good."

"It's a very simple building but still easy to get warm despite it being cold enough to snow overnight. The property was clean and tidy, and the choice of furniture and fittings was well thought out. It was easy to find and located at the front of the farm just off a quiet dirt track, it's like having the place to yourself, which is exactly what I wanted. I spent one of the days in the Cabin and walking to the state forest preserve without driving, but there are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores in the nearby towns. I definitely recommend it."
