Helga greeted me at the door and supplied a map of the town. She informed me what would be closed and when and i planned accordingly. Tim

Very nice rooms and stylish decor. Only downside is the parking lot is very muddy and should be paved so you don’t have to pull your bags through muck. Breakfast should be included like most other hotels.

Very clean, comfortable, warm. Really appreciate the attention to detail. Made our trip that much more enjoyable. They even had wine to purchase when we stayed. Near a good grocery store and bakery. Wish we could have stayed a month. Highly recommend.

Small place as expected, but we were able to squeeze our family of 5 into it for the night. Owner was helpful and communicative. Cute small town. Not 100% sure, but I think there was a public putting green across the street for golf lovers.

Beautiful small fishing town. A great place to explore the remote fjords of Iceland. The only thing between it and the North Pole is lots of ocean!
Definitely a worthwhile place to get to know Iceland better. The Herring Era Museum is unexpectedly fascinating!
Cute and easy to walk around. Nice bakery.
