Lovely short stay in this well located hotel. Our room looked newly refurbished with a kitchen area and balcony. The bed was large and comfortable. The only thing missing was a towel rail in the bathroom and a shelf to sit your toothbrush etc. On arrival you are faced with quite a number of steps which were not welcome with a heavy suitcase, however I am sure if we had gone inside and asked for help it would have been given as all staff were friendly and helpful. We would certainly be happy to return to this hotel.

Great stay in Malta

Overall very good! A really pleasant stay here. The only downside was not having a ramp for the suitcases- the steps were quite hard to use with them. But otherwise the rooms were spacious, and comfortable. Good value for money. I would recommend 😊

The hotel was conveniently located with nearby restaurants and the bus stop right outside. It was a 20 minute walk to the Valletta ferry or you could take the bus. The bus is €2 regardless of how far you go! The hotel staff were friendly, the room was spacious and clean and the rooftop pool had plenty of loungers. The buffet breakfast was one of the best I’ve seen. Plenty of choice and always topped up during service. We had a wonderful stay here and will definitely be back!

Fourth visit

We have stayed in the hotel 4 times now as we have family living close by. The welcome is always good and the hotel has never disappointed. There are great restaurants opposite and a friendly local pub.

Great breakfasts at this hotel. Very clean location was good for my circumstances. The only thing I had an issue with was that I was too hot at night and due to it being winter months no air conditioning was available.

great place to stay in Malta. I have stayed there twice. it is convenient to get to thing. Parking you need to drive around with in a couple of blocks. handy to catch a bus into Veletta or the ferry's. great restaurants and supermarket close, Good buffet breakfast and swimming pool , bar on the roof

Good hotel with unfriendly staff

Good location, great pool area, clean room with comfy beds. Breakfast ok but very noisy. Staff in reception and breakfast unfriendly and uncommitted. As a hotel guest you expect a kind and friendly reception but you won’t get that here. Bored pool bar staff handing out poor drinks. The whole staff except cleaning staff need training in service.

Hotel is really lovely for a 3 star. Definitely deserves another 1. Only issue was with the iron - there is a deposit which you do get back when you return it. But the iron board is already broken and collapsed 2 times while I was ironing my clothes , the iron leaked brown rusty water on my white t shirt. Other than this minor issue, the breakfast selection was great, hotel is very clean and the staff are lovely. The hotel is fantastic and I would stay here again if I was to return to Sliema. + great view from the room.

We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was huge and nice little kitchenette , room 253 at the back, view of other properties and the indoor pool roof but to be honest it was so lovely and quiet that we wouldn’t want a room out the front as the road is so busy! Lovely comfortable huge bed and shower good. Just over the road are some rocky beach areas and the sea was gorgeous however we are not fans of smoking and the beach is littered with millions of cigarette ends!! Also the hotel allows smoking on balconies which we hated as people staying next door and below us were stinking us out!! Apart from that we did enjoy our stay here. Roof pool nice but need more sun beds for sure.

Aggressive manager

We liked our room and the location. Both pools were beautiful. Unfortunately, we had to carry our pram up 2 lots of stairs each time to get to reception. Furthermore, on the second night someone on our floor (of only 4 rooms) was suuuuuuper loud until midnight, keeping our one year old awake. At the time, the staff member was great and came to speak with them multiple times. The next day I asked the manager what was happening and if they had checked out. He said no and that they'd "speak to them" but people were allowed to be noisy until 11pm. I said we couldn't risk our one year old being kept up so late again and asked if we could move. He then became aggressive and confrontational, pretending to check the rooms for less than 10 seconds and saying none were available. Then he started shrugging his shoulders at us. Terrible non-existent customer service. We moved to the Carlton Hotel after this, which way much better!

although my stay there was pleasant enough. The hotel room did not feel clean. The toilet had a crack in it and smelled of urine each time I flushed. The tub had a stain in it and the floors felt sticky. I just don’t feel that the maids did a good job cleaning the room. The staff there is very kind and accommodating so no complaints there. The location is excellent for walking to and from popular spots. Overall, if ever back in Malta I would give it another try and hopefully the rooms are cleaned properly.
