The TV didn’t work, there was food left in the microwave. The manager did try to fix the TV but it only worked for five minutes and he never came back. They tried to put an additional charge on the room but when questioned, reversed it. The only positive was that the pillows were AMAZING!

Avoid this place. I was excited to stay at this hotel and was happy that it would be a older hotel. There were no expectations of modern conveniences, but the whole experience was a letdown. There were dogs left in rooms, barking at all hours. Hotel staff seemed resigned to just let it happen. This exemplified the lack of care from most of the front desk staff. Room was comfortable with older sheets, but new towels and clean bathroom. The restaurant food was almost inedible. I ordered the "No Country for Old Men" Country Fried Steak---It was stringy, cheap cut of meat with burnt coating. I was charged an "extra" $4 for a baked potato. It was dried out, probably old, with a few sprinkles of cheese and a few specks of bacon. The waitress tossed a prepacked sour cream my way. I guess that helped. No cups in room. No coffee available unless you buy it. Staff doesn't seem to care----Stop by to take it in----stay somewhere else, eat somewhere else. My excitement for what should be a cool stop, was definitely ruined by bad service and bad food. Front desk said since I booked through Expedia, there was nothing they could do. Definitely lower your expectations before booking.
