Literally you walk outside of the apartment and you are in the heart of the downtown Split. Communication was great and we felt taken care of. Laura (I believe) who I communicated with was fanatic!The only call out is if you have mobility issues this might not be the place for you. The spiral staircase from the first floor of the apartment to the second floor with the bedrooms was really steep. My husband, sister, brother-in-law, and I stayed at this property for 2 nights. The apartment is exactly as pictured and the property description is accurate, except for the fact it is located on the 3rd floor (39 steps) and has an additional 15 steps inside the apartment to get to the bedrooms. If steps are an issue, or if you have a lot of luggage, this could be a problem. Otherwise, the location of the property is ideal and it is a very comfortable apartment with plenty of space to relax. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms and showers are excellent. There are two washing machines which came in handy, but no dryer. There is a clothes line and clips available off of one bedroom balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed our time staying in this apartment. ##### Pamela P. Laura offered us an airport pick up. While she’d initially quoted a price of $50, she matched the cost of an Uber, which was half of that. Her husband, Paul, met us at the airport and was friendly and welcoming. We were able to check in early as well. The apartment has AC which kept it very comfortable. We stayed only one night so didn’t use the kitchen. It would be helpful to have instructions on how to use the stove and oven for non-Europeans who might like to use the kitchen that was well stocked with pots, pans, and table service for a large group.
