“This hotel exceeded our expectations. It’s fairly new & seems up to date. The view is beautiful from hotel parking lot & i would say it’s fairly in the middle of all the hikes & lakes we went to. It was always a 15 -20 mins drive. Within 5 mins of hotel there’s a nice strip with new restaurants and Top Golf. The bed was not big enough for my partner and I , so if you are on heavier side I will advise you. There’s a Kitchenette area but no actual kitchenware is provided. If you plan on bringing……

“Loved Room 16! Quiet and a great view! Staff was friendly and engaging. They answered all of our questions and made our stay super easy and comfortable. Hotel is 125 + years old so has the usual creaks and bumping of pipes and still absolutely delightful. All we needed was a ghost appearance for perfection. Will stay again!”

“My family of 4 stayed here for one night between our visits to the Royal Gorge and Garden of the Gods. Manitou Springs mostly seems to have independent hotels vs. chains, many of which seem run down (or just vintagey-kitschy?), but this hotel is probably as good as it gets. Room was spacious and clean, pool was great for my kids, and breakfast was serviceable. “This was our first visit to Cripple Creek. We stayed at The Midnight Rose based on previous reviews. It was as the reviews stated. Our room was clean, quiet, friendly staff, and had a small fridge and microwave. There were more than enough electrical outlets for charging electronics. We would stay there again and recommend to others.”
