"This little renovated "old Florida" hotel is just outside the historic district. They even had the old fashioned "Sanitized for your Protection" strips on the toilet seat.
I found a great Italian restaurant nearby whose name I don't remember but I do remember the great piano bar at the restaurant filled with sociable locals."

"The hotel itself is new and nice. We liked it overall but would have wanted to know the following prior to booking: The restaurant is not open yet but the bar has a limited food menu. In late October the pool was only useable to dip your legs in, or maybe for a child, due to cold water (it did not sound like they would ever be heating it warmer than this per staff). The parking is paid parking and it’s a bit annoying as it through 3rd party via QR code. It’s not as scenic as the photos because...

"Patricia was a rockstar! She was professional, had a lovely temperament, and was a wonderful representative for the Hilton family.
Likewise, the property was exactly what we needed.
The gentleman at the front desk on Friday evening was also pleasant and professional to the guests.
Team members like this make a difference too! "
"Breakfast itself was good. The coffee could have been better. Think the coffee pot is not cleaned often enough. Everything else was clean and the food good. "
