"The room was very clean and very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. We finally enjoyed our stay. The only issue I had was once we got home. It took five days to get the pending money back into my account and I had to ring the hotel as they had overcharged me by £150 which if I hadn’t of queered it I wouldn’t have got it back it was just aggro. I didn’t need once we got home."

If you’re looking for luxury, this isn’t it — but if you want somewhere safe, central, and convenient, it gets the job done. The staff was friendly and check-in was fast. A few things to know: the walls are a bit thin, so you may hear hallway noise. Also, the building is older, so expect Amsterdam charm, not modern upgrades. Overall, a solid budget-friendly stay in an excellent neighborhood. I’d stay again for the location alone. Great for solo travelers who want comfort, walkability, and a cozy home base between exploring. "
