"The perfect word for this cabin is relaxing. If you’re looking for a spot to get away, but just close enough to access the real world if you want to, then this is it. Everything was comfortable and cleverly designed. We spent as much time outside as we could, especially once we realized that Loon Song wasn’t in name only - there really are loons nearby!Communication with our hosts was easy and friendly. They were excellent at both giving us our space and being there when we needed. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking to relax. Thank you!"

"Although everyone calls this home a "cabin" it is far more that a cabin. It is a beautiful retreat set by a beautifully quiet large pond {really a lake in many ways}. The home is large enough for 2-3 families without being cramped. The home is supplied really well with plates and pots and pans. And they are all in great shape. Although there is no A/C it wasn't needed and we had at least 2 days in the mid 80's. The walk down to the lake is relatively short maybe 1-1.5 min. The only down side to the lake is that at the shoreline there is no beach area and there are slippery rocks from the edge of the water to about 10-12 feet out. So if you have water shoes bring them. The fire pit area is great and we did a couple of bonfires. While you are there it's a must to go to Lake Placid. Given the Olympic history alone it is well worth the ride there as well as going to the Ski Jump facility.The owner, Ross, is great to talk to especially if you have questions about the area/property and he responds very quickly to an email.All in all this "cabin" is in a beautiful setting, very clean, spacious and well worth staying there and enjoying the pond/lake, the local hiking trails etc."

"The Pine Tree Retreat at ADK Getaway was just absolutelty perfect. The cottage was Immaculate, very comfortable and had every amenity you could possibly need. Beth and Chris were by far the best hosts we ever had. They were very kind and concerned about our comfort. We had a wonderful and restful vacation at the Pine Tree Retreat. "This camp is beautiful, it’s super private, and the fishing is great. The screened porch was perfect for taking in the surroundings, reading a book, and listening to the rain. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies for cooking and there was ample room for our family of 6. Cabin has lots of games and badminton on the front lawn was fun. We also enjoyed "

"My family and I have stayed in many rentals over the years and by far this one was the best. A mile in on a well maintained camp road, so nicely secluded. No cell service but quality WI FI. The house was so well built and nicely laid out, a pantry with space for our dry goods, well stocked with cleaning supplies and paper products. Quality dinnerware, utensils. The bedding all comfortable and new, plenty of towels and lake towels. Really nice kayaks and a John boat, new life jackets and a dock to make getting into the lake easy. 2 fire pits and plenty of firewood on site. The lake is clear and beautiful, the camp faces west so sunsets are glorious. We were there in 90 heat with no AC, but if you work the shades and fans it’s fine, and if you’re hot jump in the lake! And the basement stayed cool. We hiked the trails, fished the lakes and just enjoyed the area, thank you to our hosts for sharing this little piece of heaven. "
