“Staff entered my room without permission and without knocking. Just because hotel staff have keys does not mean they can enter a guest’s room whenever they want. Guest privacy should be a top priority for any hotel, and this behavior was completely unacceptable. In addition, I am still trying to receive the $150 USD cash deposit that I paid at check-in. When I went to check out, no staff member was available. I was told that if I wanted my refund, I should leave the key inside the room and wait……

“Quiet little hotel with charm around 20 or so minutes from Lake Placid. The staff is very nice and worked hard to plow with all the snow we had. I appreciated the electric fireplace in my room to help make it toasty.”
