Furnace Mt Rustic Retreat

This former general store, located on Furnace Mountain near the Red River Gorge is within the Daniel Boone National Forest boundary lines. With so much character we have turned the old store into a cozy and spacious retreat where you can enjoy relaxing, hiking, fishing in our catch and release stocked pond, or UTV riding on our 25+acres.

With 2,700 sq ft The Furnace Mountain Rustic Resort is perfect for family gatherings and group events!

Bring your tents! There are plenty of areas for primitive camping so you can Explore S’more!

Furnace retreat

Overall, nice visit! House was comfortable and clean and property was private and roomy. Nice trail with great fire ring! Great location being close to wilderness areas. Minor issues with alarm and doors, including bedroom doors. Solid 2 bedroom house with extra sleeping areas. Great for family with children.
