Our stay was good. The room itself could use some updating and if you are staying on a bottom floor you can hear the person above you pretty easily. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very nice. I give it a 9/10

Quaint and clean but a little dated. Very remote location. No nearby restaurants.
We stayed one night with my parents, my wife, and our two kids. The property is secluded, which will suit some travelers well, and the price was the main reason we chose it. The apartment was mostly clean and generously stocked, with plenty of toiletries and bedding. The high-speed internet was excellent. The couches could use a cleaning, but it wasn't bad. Muffins were provided for breakfast, which was a nice touch, though we mostly ate our own food. Overall, we'd happily stay again.

The staff was wonderful but the accommodations were significantly outdated. The walls were paper thin so you could hear conversations happening in the next room. In addition, some rooms are two level with a loft bedroom accessible by a spiral staircase. To me, the staircase was potentially unsafe as it is extremely narrow.
Friendly folks.Pet friendly and covenient to the lovell/Stoneham area.
Cons: Murphy beds no good for two especially older folks.
Tania and owner were very accomodating for night two, and upgraded us to larger bed.Our bones greatly appreciated it!!

This place is in the middle of nowhere. Though that could be nice for viewing the fall leaves, it has not been updated in decades. It is difficult to find in the dark. The pictures you see are from one of the rooms that has been updated but many have not. You will be sleeping on a Murphy bed. The check-in process is old-school with paper and physical keys. The staff was not bad. They even recommended a restaurant. Though the restaurants are even a 20 minute drive away. If you choose to stay here, please know what you’re getting into. You should ask lots of questions.
A perfect quiet rustic lodge. The room was clean, convenient and comfy and had a kitchenette and a murphy bed. So cool. Went outside for a smoke and spent the whole time watching a screech owl. I loved the location, it's far enough to feel the solitude and close enough you can go to lunch in Bethel or in North Conway or just down Rt 5 in Lovell. It's not new and it is rustic and for me very comfy and affordable. Exactly what I was expecting.
This was a beautiful and cozy property in a remote part of Maine, yet the facilities were very well maintained and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
A gem in the middle of nowhere...amazing place!!! Hidden but amazing.
Staff extremely friendly and the owners made a huge breakfast for everyone. Delicious cookies homemade to received us.
We would like to stay few more days to explore the area but was just 1 night stop. We really love this place.
