Enjoyed my stay. Understand this is like camping on the water. It's clean with a bit of a musty smell. The manager was exceptionally nice. If you enjoy the water it's a good stay.

Unique lodging
Eric was a great host. He communicated with me in the days leading up to my arrival and met me at the property on time. He was very thorough in providing directions for using the boat and shared the history of how he and his dad got the boat. My only disagreement with the experience was Eric’s description of staying on the boat as “glamping.” I would compare it more to tent camping in the state and national parks (hot & humid). He does provide a fan and that helps but that is a tall task to combat the Florida weather in July. If I’m ever in the area during the cooler seasons, I would be happy to stay on the sailboat again.

Rustic but nice
The sailboat is old, a little tight, but all the fun activities are within walking distance or a short drive to the beaches. You can also fish (schoonk) right off the walkway. Me and my old friend of 60 years had a great time and at $50 bucks a night, you can beat it anywhere!

Great Neighborhood
I enjoyed staying on the boat and Eric was very easy to communicate with. Realize, the boat is not very spacious and it is not a luxury yacht. It is a cool old boat and was everything I needed, a bed, dry and warm and safe. I would stay there again.

AWESOME experience!!
Its a classic sailboat, not a yacht. Don’t expect one. This boat was perfect, exactly what we were looking for, well within our price range. It’s a simple, small, comfortable and very unique place to lay your head at night. The owner is VERY accommodating, friendly and easy to get ahold of if necessary. Super nice guy! There’s plenty of privacy in the marina, it’s very close to the most popular restaurants and bars around, you can see Twisted Tuna (and hear it) from the rear deck. The train is kind of annoying but honestly you won’t be able to avoid it ANYWHERE in Stuart. 100/10 highly recommend and we will definitely be staying again! Thank you Eric!!

Disgusting accommodations
My wife and I thought it might be nice to stay on a sailboat since we are boating enthusiasts and hope to live on a boat someday. The pictures do not represent this boat AT All. In fact, I am surprised there is no process VRBO uses to vet their clients and the accommodations they’re offering. The inside of the boat is full of mold, extremely dirty and in total disrepair. I’m surprised the boat is still floating. We couldn’t even stay inside the boat because of the smell and we are not picky. The owner was responsive until I asked for a refund that he would not agree to. We never slept there and had to get other accommodations because it was so bad. RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN FROM THIS ONE!

We tried
The sale boat was neat and we really wanted it to work. We love close quarters, don't mind tiny potties and didn't care about not having a typical shower. The host was accommodating and tried to be hospitable with sand pails filled with a beach towel, shampoo and conditioner etc, water to drink in bottles and ice in the cooler for a fridge. But too many things made the experience uncomfortable. The main thing was how hard the beds were and how miserable we were sleeping. The older thin pads over flat wood beds were just terrible. If I would have known we could have brought camping mattresses. There were 3 of us and we had to share 4 super, super thin pillows. There were two other pillows that were HUGE and hard and they killed my neck after the first night. So second night was just as bad but with tiny thin pillows. We happened to be there when it was pretty cold and though we were given a tiny space heater, we were very cold with the single, thin blanket per person and sheet per bed. I woke up so many times it hardly felt like I slept though I'm sure I did. I was just in so much pain from the beds. A few other things that were ok but not great (but with the low price fine) were the broken outlets besides the one extension cord (if we wanted to make coffee we had to move the Keurig) and the dirty and dusty shelves and old broken equipment. The counters could have been cleaner but it was really not bad. If we would have slept comfortably, we would have been happy and enjoyed ourselves considering price. I do wish there were some better instructions and wish we had a welcome letter so we knew what we were getting into. The listing wasn't very detailed.
