Spacious room. Dining was excellent. Staff was super friendly. Loved that it was close to the quay and transportation. Amazing historic district with so much to explore.
Great staff, allowed for an early check in. All around one of the easiest stays ever. The room was OK due to the age of the building but location is top shelf. Would go back again and thanks to all the staff especially front desk.
Very interesting hotel and location of the hotel. Close to shore walking, dining, sidewalk market (Fr -Su), ferry terminal. Pleasant and helpfull staff. No elevator, but staff helps with luggage up and down the stairs. We liked it very much.

The hotel has a super location and is clearly a heritage property. From a distance everything looks super but the hotel needs some serious money spending on the decoration, fixtures and fittings which are all really tired, dated and way past their best. The staff in the hotel are super and really do try to do their best for you. If this review was based on the breakfast it would be five star plus. The full house breakfast is absolutely superb. Good ingredients, well cooked and plentiful. Do note that the hotel does not have a passenger lift so you will have to walk up and down the hotel stairs. There is however a luggage lift which means you don’t have to carry luggage up and down.
Service and comfort was excellent. The shower in the bathroom could use a better scrub to attack the light mildew that is gathering. Otherwise Excellent.
The location in “the rocks” area is the selling point for this hotel. You can walk to the ferry and other transportation from the hotel and our favorite little cafe was steps away (the Rocks cafe). The in-hotel cafe was middle eastern so can’t comment if it was good or bad, did not try.
The motel is in a great location, right in the heart of the Rocks. Parking straight across the road. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. Plus the extra bonus of having a bar in the motel was also great. Highly recommended
