We weren’t expecting a 5 star hotel, but when we tried to check in, we could not find a staff member, nor was anyone answering the phone, so we left and came back later on. Our room left much to be desired. It was clear they had done some updating, but the bed was really low and hard. The updates didn’t make it to the bathroom and we had a bathroom with no counter space and a brown tub/shower visibly screwed into the wall. It’s a small detail, but it also looks odd when the bathroom handles are two different colors on the inside and outside. The water was lukewarm to shower at 8am and the shower head was in a fixed position.
Our AC was great and the property was quiet enough. We would have like to enjoy the pool but the lack of staff at check in had us ducking out to find something else to do. It was a clean enough space to spend the night, but not worth the price we paid.

"I booked a unit which has a loft and they moved me to a smaller one without ever telling me. So, someone had to sleep on the futon which was disgusting and so uncomfortable it’s not suitable for sleeping (needs a new mattress). There were no sheets for it either.
