Right outside the backyard is a nice new playground and park area, which is great if you have small children. The only potential downsides to be aware of is that noise does travel quite easily from the basement unit through the vents. “It is a nice place in a quiet cottage community. Beautiful area, easy access to walking trails right at back of property. There is a communal deck at the front entrance if you want to enjoy the view of the sunset over the bay. Also 2 chairs down on the beach that we used. Really enjoyed paddling around the bay in the kayaks that the owner made available for our use. We did have to carry the kayaks down to the water and across the road (about 100 metres) but road is not busy & speed limit is low……

“Just driving up the driveway to this incredible vacation home i knew we were going to have the perfect getaway. The location is ideal, with a view of Lake Huron from the front porch and coveniently situated between Port Elgin and Southampton. The house is spacious, immaculate and has all the amenities you could ask for, and then some! The outdoor extras are icing on the cake....beautiful grounds, hot tub, bbq, hammock, 2 outdoor dining areas, games to play. Just an amazing place to……

“There was no heat in the apartment and Globalstay only increased the heat from 17C to 19C so we were very cold the entire stay. After checkout they tried to charge us for a stain in the bathroom that was not there and garbage that was not ours. When we attempted to ask for more clarification Globalstay did not provide any. Would not stay with a Globalstay unit again.”
