Phone reception was mildly decreased, which was perfect for not falling into the phone but still being somewhat connected. Nestled in the trees, just far enough from the neighboring houses. We felt safe, even when our only light came from the fire pit. We missed our birding field guide, but enjoyed the various winged visitors all the same. “We loved this cabin, it was very beautiful and had a lot of amenities and stuff provided that we didn’t have to haul in our car. There is a ton of fridge space as we stayed in all weekend to cook! The only sad thing was the weather was terrible and rainy and we didn’t get to enjoy the beautiful outside and property because it was rainy and muddy. ”

“Met the owner when checking in. Friendly and very helpful. Pictures do not give this cabin justice. The cabin is spacious, but cozy. The fire barrel was a great spot to enjoy the evenings. Pretty much what is at home is provided here. Great times! Will be returning. Highly recommend.”

“This cabin with its amazing view was a wonderful place to relax after days of hiking and kayaking. We spent our morning sipping coffee on the front porch and also had our dinners at the little table there as well. The fire pit was a nice place to sit and look up at the stars- so many! It was so quiet. The cabin is super clean, comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen, very well taken care of and a close location to Alleghany State Park. Highly recommend staying here!”

“This was the most elegant, beautiful cabin I’ve ever had the privilege of visiting. The cabin and its surroundings are pristine, and beautifully and delicately decorated. Not a single detail was left out and there are so many personal touches that added to the whimsy and tranquility of this beautiful place. The view of the lush green rolling hills paired with the impeccable, warm hospitality from the hosts made our stay something to remember. My only regret is that we didn’t get to stay longer....
