"The check-in process at Casa Escondida was about as hassle-free as they get. The property was quiet and serene, the staff polite and professional. The breakfast.. I mean don't even get me started. It was SO good. The only negative is that we only stayed for one night on the way to Albuquerque from Durango, definitely recommend. There arent fridges in the rooms and the wifi is spotty but the stay was thoroughly enjoyable"

"The property is old and worn. The first floor was being painted so hopefully the property is being updated. The front of the AC was broken, as if someone had fallen on it. The lamp shade was torn, the towels were rough, one coverlet was torn and mended. The property was nice and private...off the main highway. The pool was closed...too bad. I hope it will be upgraded because it was once the best motel in Espanola. The staff was wonderful, cheerful and helpful. It was very clean which is most important. We'd stay there again with limited expectations. "

"The Palacio de Marquesa had a chef that prepared a hot gourmet delicious breakfast for us. His name was Nicholas and he was very friendly as well. There were fresh cookies available all day. Our room ( casita ) was very roomy, comfortable and stylish as was the entire Inn. There was also a fridge in our room which was convenient and appreciated. The inn keeper, Pam, gave us all her cell number and encouraged us to call for anything. It was a lovely stay. We hope to return one day in the near future. "
