“Wonderful place to stay in Black Mountain! Our family of three really enjoyed the cottage and the outdoor sitting area. It is immaculate and includes everything you need. Very easy access to downtown and to the highway for local adventures. Interesting modern design - the high ceiling makes it feel bigger than it is. Gorgeous landscaping. Bear sightings! ”

“This was our first time visiting Lake Lure! Despite the lake having been drained and closed there was plenty to do in the Rumbling Bald Resort! We enjoyed visiting 2 out of the 3 pools during our stay. A round of mini golf, some ice cream, and dining at 3 of the on site & nearby restaurants. Not to mention the fireworks and other activities that were going on for the 4th of July weekend. The accommodation was great. A beautiful large home with everything you could possibly need. Communication……

“Overall great stay! Would stay again. The biggest thing to take into account is the steepness of the road and driveway getting to the house. This would be the only con in my opinion however this is the mountains and it is expected. “The property is located in a quiet community with access to pretty much anything you could need. The condo was clean, well stocked with basic needs (towels, hair dryer, coffee maker,, full size kitchen appliances). The owner was very responsive to questions and offered suggestions for nearby attractions. Will definitely book again. ”
