“Our stay was perfect for what we needed which is rest, reset and refreshment when not working. We were surrounded by nature. The area was so peaceful and quiet. Our stay was cut short because of heavy rains and storms and some roads being impassible to the cabin.”

It's less then 10 minutes from downtown Eminence and located in Ozark National Scenic Riverways. The Cabin is clean and nicely furnished and the host was extremely friendly and was available whenever we reached out. I will definitely stay with them any time I'm in the area...”

“Exactly as described. Enjoyed walks with our dog down the quiet country road to the pretty creek. Very safe being off leash. Enjoyed kayaking with Windy outfitters just a few miles away. The town is also a few miles away with gas, groceries, eating places. Everyone is so friendly in Missouri! (We are from Illinois). Recommend the Pie Barn in town too. If you enjoy cooking you might bring some sharp knives, maybe a big pot and some dish towels. The hosts provide only one dish cloth and one dish...

“The host could not BE any nicer or easy to work with. He let us stay late for the eclipse with no fuss. And mailed back a CPAP machine I accidentally left there. The cabin was exactly the right size for a getaway weekend to view the eclipse. Everything was clean, it is easy to find, bit feels remote. We want to explore the property next time we stay - cannot wait to find the creek! We think this could be our base when we float the Jack’s Fork. Excellent all around!”

“The cabin is cozy and welcoming. Two full kitchens can easily accommodate 2 families with plenty of privacy. Bbq pit, fire pit, porch with lighting with a view of the mountains is perfect. Cabin has plenty of privacy from neighboring homes. Only a few minutes from town. Close to both the Current River and Jack Forks.”

“The lack of variety of pots and pans were a bummer. Plus, the ones that were there were dirty. Consequently, we had to change our plans about cooking in the room, except in the microwave. Only 4 place settings of flatware, even though the cabin has sleeping for 8. However, watching the eclipse from the parking lot was spectacular! Didn’t have to drive anywhere to see it so we didn’t have to fight any traffic. That, in itself, made up for any inconveniences in the room itself. The area is...

“The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We needed a place to crash the weekend of the Solar Eclipse - and wanted to stay away from hotels and bigger cities. It worked perfectly for what we needed.”

“Rental was clean inside, but the deck area needs attention. There was a thick layer of pollen on all the furniture, and a dead bird in the center of the floor. It was filthy. It appeared as if the deck hadn't had attention or cleaning for a long time. It definitely was not prepared fir the rental.”
