This is a one bedroom apartment in a shared house overlooking the town of Van Buren, Missouri. We are located at 1000 feet of elevation and the Current River and the town are about 500 feet below. From the porch of this apartment you can see more than twenty miles, and the landscape and visuals are ever-changing. We are located about three miles from Big Spring National Park and less than two miles from the Current River National Scenic Riverway.

Big Springs

This property was in a great location to Big Springs and Van Buren. It also, had a wonderful view from the patio, kitchen, living room and bedroom. In the morning there are thin clouds over the woods and it looks like your sittin above the clouds.

Cozy and clean

We were in town for a wedding and wanted a unique place to stay. This place fit the bill. Very short drive to Big Spring and the Current River. We really enjoyed watching the hummingbirds on the property. We were well taken care of and all our needs were met. Also a beautiful view! I wouldn’t mind staying here again.

Close to everything

Loved our stay. Super cute, close to everything we wanted to do, yet out far enough for that country feel. Spectacular view of the mountains and Current River. Will stay here again and will recommend to others.

We arrived later than expected and missed the driveway. I messaged Heather at 11 pm and she quickly called me and was going to walk to the end of the drive to help us get to where we needed to be. We got there and situated, she was super sweet. I messaged her the next day to ask a question and she responded quickly to answer me. We enjoyed every minute there, and her apartment, the outside and scenery was beautiful. I will be booking to stay here again.

Comfortable, relaxing, beautiful, quiet, convenient. Everything we needed was available. Would love to come back again. Owners were responsive to my question about floating outfitters. The whole family made some wonderful memories.

We love staying at Skyline Drive and this is our second year doing so. We love the house, the amenities, location and the hosts are fantastic! We intend on booking again for 2024. It’s so great to have a familiar place to come home to even if it isn’t my home! Can’t wait till next time!

Absolutely Beautiful View

My husband and I came up here for a relaxing weekend and that is exactly what we got the apartment was clean had all furnished needs for the weekend. The view was amazing from the porch, and it was very close to all amenities in town. We took our side-by-side on a trailer, unaware of the parking situation, and the people were so friendly about making sure we were accommodated. It was just a bonus to our trip. We will definitely be booking here again in the very near future!

Best view

This is a cute little apartment with one of the best views in the area. The host is always pleasant and hospitable. This was our 2nd year staying here, and I'm sure we will again if it is available. My son had left his wallet with money in it and she immediately contacted me to get it returned. Thank you Heather for all your help.

Short but sweet

This is a super cute property with a great view for morning coffee. They have a gas stove - which allowed me to make the boys the s’mores I promised when a fire wasn’t feasible due to a storm blowing in The apartment had everything we needed and we would certainly go back. Thank you! The owners were responsive and friendly, and we were able to get in a little early when we arrived sooner than expected. Also, all four of us were able to get hot showers when we got back from a long day in n the river, which I personally appreciated since I was the last one through lol.

Beautiful place

We had a wonderful time staying here. The views were amazing. It was so relaxing and peaceful to sit outside and look out at the view. The place had everything we could ever need and more. We picked this place mainly because it was dog friendly and we couldn’t have been happier. For a place that allows dogs I couldn’t find evidence of another dog being there. The place was very clean. Definitely would come back again!
