“Such a sweet stay. The Garden View Room was lovely. Understated rustic chic. Although vintage, nothing felt old.
We loved the small bottle of wine and the log ready in the fireplace. We actually lit the fire and it didn’t overheat the room but gave us a soothing vibe. Plus great coffee and a big fridge provided.
We would DEFINITELY stay again. Wish we had more time to spend around the garden. I’m not sure why anyone would rate this below a 9. We give it a 10! It was our favorite...
“Great helpful staff. Uniquely decorated rooms in historic property. Fantastic breakfast provided. Note that the house is 3 stories with no elevator. Not a problem for us, but others might want to keep this in mind if elderly or challenged. Easy walk to beach trail to a beautiful State Park Beach.”

“What a great place. The owners were friendly and greeted us with chocolate chip cookies. The room was super clean and the grounds well taken care of. You can tell the owners take pride in their property. There was a bar/grill next door with a gorgeous view of the ocean, a convenience store next to that and I'll will stay with them next time we go thru San Simeon. This place is a gem and highly recommend staying here.”
