Brian on the desk made us feel very welcome and gave us a great introduction to the hotel. This boutique hotel had so many pleasing extras that i havn't seen before in any hotel in my extensive travels.... Doubt whether i will be back in Vancouver Island but if i was then Sidney and the Beacon Inn would be my first choice and i would strongly recommend. Beacon Brewing down the street was an added bonus........
Brian met every challenge we threw at him with grace and good humour. Leaving our luggage before check in time including a monkey puzzle tree..no problem.
He thought of everything, we thought our very early morning departure time would mean no breakfast but he delivered yogurt, muffins, oranges an cheese to our room the night before.
A beautiful place and we will be back.
The front desk man was very helpful and kind. The room was lovely, there was yogurt, cheese and mandarins in the fridge in the room, and muffins were also provided, it was nice to be able to lounge in the room instead of going downstairs. The two-person tub was a bonus as well. Nice, quiet and close to everything.
What a beautiful and unique property. Such a nice option if you want to be close to the ferry while visiting Victoria and the region. Lovely staff and details.
