"Lovely hotel, good driving access to all areas around Bordeaux, the site just outside the hotel is still being developed so area will look better, staff were brilliant and could not be anymore helpful"

"Great staff, very economical, good size room with comfortable bed and nice shower/bath. Kitchen and fridge were helpful. Good views, 7th floor. Docks shopping complex, train station, canals all close by. Parking is paid underground across the street from the hotel. 10€ per day. Only downside is the Outside of hotel gets a bit trashy and dirty. Between the smokers, trash and urban outdoorsmen.

"We had a wonderful pre-cruise stay at Mercure Le Havre Centre! Great location! We arrived from Paris via train and the hotel was a short walk (10 minutes with 2 large luggage) from the station. On the day of embarkation, we walked to the the cruise terminal (20 minutes on a beautiful sunny day!) The staff was absolutely Super! The room was clean and spacious as well as the bathroom! And the breakfast was as good as you'll find anywhere with numerous options! We definitely look forward to returning!"
"The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful over the very busy weekend of the 14th July weekend. Parking right next door and a great terrace overlooking the beach. Room overlooked the beach - reminded us of being on a ship, all very well appointed & with great balcony"
"We arrived at this hotel around 1:30 AM in the morning. We had limited internet while we were traveling, so had recieved no instructions, etc. upon what to do upon arrival.
We circled the block several times, before going to a lounge that down the street that was still open and luckily the person there was able to call and discover how to get us in. To people who are unfamiliar with this hotel, such as us, need to know that there is a gate, and a keypad, that you put a code in, inorder to get into the hotel yard, to get to the hotel. A code, which was sent to me, but because I didn't have internet, did not receive. By the time we got in the room we were we exhausted. It was a nice room, with a full bath, very comfortable. Just wish we could have gotten in the room with less frustration. The person who checked us in, did make us feel welcome, and was very nice. The hotel was clean, the room was clean, and secure. The area had many amenities: gas station, shopping mall - with a great place for breakfast, a pharmacy, etc. very close by."

"I had a very good stay here and ended up extending my stay for an extra night. It is a good base near the train/bus station for day trips to Êtretat and Honfleur. Refrigerator in the room. You could also base here and do Caen in a day trip. Friendly staff and student vibe with many schools and universities in this area. It is 5 mins walk to the Shopping center at Docks. There is a Lidl grocery there too. "
"Good value for the price we paid. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Le Havre, and close to an Aldi. Property typical 2 star - could do with a makeover, but didn’t affect our stay. Adequate car parking. The hotel and rooms were clean, but could do with better towels, as ours were a bit on the small side and getting old. Water in the bathroom always hot for showers. Room good size, rail provided to hang clothes but no drawers. Electric wall heater, which was confusing to operate, but luckily we had unseasonably mild weather. Small eating area/restaurant with small evening menu which we didn’t have. Breakfast typical cold continental buffet - although you could make a boiled egg and toast. The hotel caters for both couples/families as well as a few commercial van drivers when we were there.
Would return there to visit our French family (but would possibly consider taking our own bath towels)."
