Place was very clean, very spacious, host was thoughtful when it came to having everything we needed for a relaxing stay and was quick to respond to any questions. I would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay on Long Island.”

The size of the unit was very adequate for two people. Bathroom was clean and adequately stocked with towels and wash cloths.The reason for 2 stars is we thought the apartment was not very clean from floor to ceiling. This apartment has huge potential to be very cute. In my option, it needs an entire over haul.”

“It worked for us while we were at the US Open. We were gone ever day, and some days didn’t get back till late. We ate a few meals in the apartment, and had enough kitchen accoutrements to handle our meal. The shower worked well and we had enough towels, although they were old. Our bed and pillows and bed linens worked well for us. The AC worked well, although it wasn’t a hot week. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. “The property needs a major cleaning and repairs. The floors were sticky, and the carpet was dirty. Furniture was dirty and soiled. There was dried food on the utensils. The pipes groaned at all hours, several times an hour. The bed creaked with every movement. Bedroom blinds were broken and wouldn’t close all the way. The bedside lamp on the wall was falling off. The last straw was the huge spider that jumped down from the closet onto me. We ended up leaving after less than 24 hours and……

“Upon arrival, there was a notice of non payment of almost 4000 from the electric company on the door so I was concerned I would lose electric. The grounds seemedover grown and unkept. There was no TV, no hot water in the kitchen with a brokenhot water knob which would have needed a wrench. Although it had in room air conditioners vented outside, they were taped in place with open air coming inside. One of the open areas actually had live tree vines coming inside which I pulled out. “It all starts with the host, Louis, who is outstanding. He allowed my brother to do a walkthrough of the property months before we showed up. Louis communicates effectively and efficiently, and responds immediately. The fridge was initially stocked with breakfast essentials, there was wine in the dining room table and beverages in the small fridge.
