"Glad we stayed here and would definitely stay again. Room was nice, quite and comfortable. Management allowed us to check-in about 2 hours early. Italian restaurant onsite was nice but did not feel like it was actually part of the hotel. It is much bigger than I expected. The picture of the three small round tables is not inside the restaurant but of a sitting area inside the hotel. The Italian restaurant is actually quite large. It could use some greenery and perhaps grape vines painted on the walls to enhance the atmosphere. The servers were excellent - very attentive. The music playing in the background over numerous speakers throughout the restaurant was excellent. The loudness of the music was perfect - better than any other restaurant I have ever been in. Easy to hear from anywhere but not too low or too loud. However, the food was lacking. Mine and my wife's meals tasted like they were straight out of a can or from TV dinners."

"We stayed in Schulenburg to see the painted churches on the way back from spring break in San Antonio. This hotel was excellent! The service was very friendly, the food on the breakfast buffet was great, the location was also great. The gym was surprisingly well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here"
