“The pros are the hotel has great facilities for families, they have some really good slides for the kids, an arcade room, a Starbucks nearby and also car rental. “I stayed at this property when it was Embassy Suites almost 30 years ago. Grounds are just as lovely but the interior is a bit institutional-like. Could use updating and a bit of decor. We were not there for the room though so it worked. Host was communicative and unit was clean and got a good price on it- no complaints”

“My family of 4 and I had a great time at the Honua Kai resort. Our particular unit was very spacious and had a huge wrap-around deck with a nice view of the mountain and grassy areas. The kitchen is small but is well-stocked as we cooked quite a bit. Honua Kai facilities are very nice with multiple pools and hot tubs and convenient access to the beach and food truck park as well. The Duke’s restaurant is nice but a bit pricey and mediocre food. You pay for the view and convenience but staff is……

“Loved our stay there. The place was perfect for our needs. It is so well equipped with all the little extras. There were condiments and other food staples. We used the last coffee pod and then replaced with a new box. Such a nice casual system. Our only issue was with working the tv. This place feels homey and comfortable. Of course the highlight is the location and that view. it is right on the Beach Walk and just a mile to Whalers Village. ”
