This property is located in the picturesque Lulworth Cove which is a quaint country village with local amenities. It is a fantastic base to explore the local area including historic 16th-century Lulworth Castle and its small children’s animal farm and the iconic Durdle Door - a limestone arch on a stretch of shingle beach where you can sunbathe or swim in the clear waters.
The heavy oak front door leads into a tiled hall with a cloakroom/shower room. On arrival you will encounter the kitchen with its feature fireplace, tiled floor and door to the garden. The kitchen comes equipped with an oven and hob, fridge, microwave, washing machine, freezer and dishwasher. The drawing room has some of the best period features including historic Norman arch and window seat and stone mullion windows. The views from this property are outstanding and extend throughout the vicarage. A beautiful marble fireplace and open fire make this room cosy and elegant. There is also a utility room on this level with a tumble dryer inside. A period staircase with high ceiling leads up to the first floor where there are two double bedrooms (one en-suite), a separate family bathroom with wet room shower. A more modern sitting room is here on the first floor with TV and comfortable furniture for relaxation. The second floor, set into the eaves, houses two further bedrooms one being a twin and the other a zip and link double. The property has low door frames and reduced ceiling height in eaves.
The outside area of this property is vast with many exquisite features. From the wrought iron gates to the property and the drive lined with box hedging and mature shrubs ensuring privacy for those using the property to the raised terrace which runs around the side of the building to the rear. From the terrace, there are eight steps down to the croquet lawn where you can partake in a game or two, and also a covered pond. For those wishing to dine outside, there is a comfortable seating area around the fire pit where you can enjoy food and drinks under the stars.
