“Basecamp lodge is a beautiful property slightly away from the main Mount Shasta town. The property is clean and you get "the freshest water in the USA" in the tap. The beds are big (we had a king bed) and very comfortable. You have beautiful Mount Shasta views from the property and it's close to all the hikes, waterfalls and lakes you want to visit.”

“It feels like a’50s motel, but not in a good way. Everything seems like it’s 70 years old, including the mattress. Outlets are space and inconvenient. The room had a distinct odor. Good price but I don’t think it’s worth it. ”

“When we arrived at our cabin, we saw that the oven and stove were out of service. There was no communication for this and kinda threw off all of our meal prep. The inside was pretty clean. The lake view was ok. But I am upset at the lack of communication especially because the kitchen is advertised in the listing.”
