  • This chic apartment offers spectacular views from the balcony over Whitby Harbour. Treat your loved one to a relaxing stay here and enjoy all the delights of this bustling seaside town on the doorstep; shops, pubs and the beach are all within 400 metres. Boasting one sumptuous bedroom, this is a romantic getaway for two and is simply bursting with character.

    From the private entrance on the ground floor, climb the stairs to the second floor where you’ll find the door to the apartment. Set below the eaves, this spacious apartment features low, sloping ceilings and exposed beams, and is filled with light from Velux windows. It is set across two levels, each with a lounge space where you can sit back and admire the waterside views. Rustle up romantic suppers in the kitchen and dine at the table, before resting your heads for the night in the king-size bedroom. A bathroom completes the interior and if you fancy some fresh air, you can make the most of the push-out balcony.

    This conveniently located apartment is only 200 metres from the nearest shopping and dining options, perfect if you fancy a night off from cooking. If you’d like a dip in the sea or a picnic on the sand, the beach is just 400 metres from the door. Ascend the iconic 199 steps and visit the atmospheric ruins of Whitby Abbey (1 mile), browse the art galleries of nearby Staithes (10 miles), or enjoy a host of outdoor adventures in the North York Moors National Park (2.5 miles).

This is great apartment, light, airy, tastefully furnished, fantastic location. We especially enjoyed the pull out balcony for evening drinks on the river! We would definitely recommend this apartment. There are a couple of negatives tho, the parking permits are really helpful but finding parking spaces, even out of high season was a challenge. We ended up parking the car and using the bus to get around which was really easy as the bus station is just a five minute walk from the apartment. There was also a strong incense or similar from the shop below. Stronger in the common parts but it filters into the apartment, we just left the windows open which seemed to work.
