“We wanted a break from the city and we really enjoyed this house. We spent lots of time on the upper deck listening to the birds. The view is great. The mowed paths are many and great to walk around on - well marked too. The tree farm is cool to see. It’s a well designed little spot with nice touches of style. Very clean, comfy bed, pillows and sheets, lots of blankets too! We played the in-house guitar and the cajon drum as well. Fun time!”

“The River House is a beautiful property. It is a gorgeous log home with the Susquehanna River as the backyard. The home was very clean and comfortable. The entire property is calm and relaxing. My husband was able to fish right on the river bank which was one of the main reasons for this trip. We also enjoyed the hot tub. We would definitely return for a stay in the fall. Thank you!”

“Me and my two friends stayed here for the weekend. It was a lovely home and had all the amenities we could have asked for. We had a fire on Friday. We brought our own wood because we weren’t sure if there was going to be wood available for us to use and to our surprise there was. We hiked all day on Saturday and then came back to the warmth of the house in the evening. We would definitely stay again.”

“This historic VRBO was updated and yet held onto its historic charm with exposed brick, beams and decor. The beds were comfortable, the towels were fluffy and the kitchen was well appointed. The cappuccino keurig machine was awesome and my kids appreciated the variety of snacks and hot teas left by the hosts. “Property was clean. There were state police looking for someone in hotel when we got there which was weird and worrisome. We were in the area for a family members college graduation and not familiar with the area at all. There is a Sheetz directly next door so if needed that would be convenient. We checked in at about 6:30 pm and checked out next morning at 10am. Nothing special about the room. Dated but clean. Husband did go down for breakfast and said it was horrible, worst ever. Most likely……
