Family & dog friendly historic 4BR farmhouse near Sebago Lake w/ boat launch!

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (26)
"Place was as described and almost perfect for our needs. The proximity to the lake was great and the
dogs
had a great time playing in the water. The house was well equipped and came thru in stars when we executed our lobster boil and roll making. Beds were comfy and bedrooms were spread out enough in this somewhat creaky house to keep everyone sleeping soundly. Bathrooms only on the first floor was a minor inconvenience "

dog
). Every room was decent sized and had plenty of common space to spread out. It was very peaceful and mostly quiet: We only saw a few kayaks out on the water, but one of the neighbors was cutting down trees and clearing their lot during our stay. The house was very well equipped with kitchenware and lake activity gears. We were happily surprised that there were life jackets for infants and...

WATERFRONT ON HIGHLAND LAKE. LESS THAN 30 MINUTES TO PORTLAND

9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (2)
"Boomfish Cottage is a cozy place with everything you could need . It was clean , comfy and serene . It provided the perfect calm for us during a weekend long family wedding at nearby Caswell Flower Farm . It was also easy access for an older person ( me) as well as small children and my little ShihTzu rescue
dogs
. My granddaughters came by and loved catching minnows in the still warm lake. Extra bonus was enjoying the peak foliage at the lake . Eric , the property manager was very communicative...

"Its an older home that's been renovated, so you get some "rental" feels. You get all the modern amenities with a TV in every room if that's your jam. Location is great and the back deck is amazing. There's beautiful oak trees that form the canopy onsite. Lots of shade. House is close to Portland, Lake Sebago state park and, hiking trails. We enjoyed our stay."
