“For it's location, the property is excellent. Overall, it was very good. The staff are super friendly and courteous. The amenities are not the best, but also not bad at all. If you need to stay in Winters, Texas...this IS ABSOULTELY WHERE YOU WANT TO BE. The hotel is average is most ways. It is maintained well and is very clean and there is nothing offensive here at all. I would say that the fitness center needs to open earlier than 6:00 am and probably should be 24 hours like most places. I had……

“This place is run down, dirty, and loud. The furniture is from the 90’s and the pull out couch is like sleeping on a torture rack. We found several items in our room that seemed to have been left by former guests, and other signs of haphazard cleaning. There was a very loud party going on downstairs in the ballroom with bass so loud we could feel it until after 10 PM! And the hotel staff didn’t warn us or seem to care. The breakfast was mediocre and the pool was nothing special. Hard pass.”

“The hotel was very overpriced. We requested a quiet room away from customer-heavy traffic areas, ice machines, or diesel truck driving noise areas, but were put next to an elevator. Entered the room and saw torn drapes, open outlets (no covers) behind the TV, a missing wall picture (hangers in the wall), peeling tub, many paint chips on doors & furniture, missing overhead light fixture cover. Cleaned ok, not great. Bed was comfortable. Chair cushion mismatched chair. Bring your own……

“Never saw staff other than check-in. Hall carpet on second floor was nasty. Had not been vacuumed and it looked like a trash bag was dropped & never cleaned up- dirty q-tips, bandaid, cotton balls, etc in front of our room & several others. Stains all over the sofa, and the sheets appeared to have been washed but were threadbare and stained. Outside of property was poorly maintained.”
