"The only toilet facilities was a porta potty which smelled and looked like it had not been emptied in months. Shower did not have a way to lock the door of the only shower, to keep others out. We did not have cell phone reception because of the mountains and no way to contact the owner. No one was around to check us in."

"This cabin was very cute and clean. There is a gas grill and a fire pit, which were not mentioned in the listing, but were a welcome addition. The porch is a wonderful place to hang out. Plenty of space for your dog to play fetch on the property. We found the sleeping quarters a little hot, but the mattress was very comfortable. Great location, 5 minutes from Dupont, 30 from Looking Glass/Pisgah, and an hour from the Parkway."

"Property is a very large house with many outside screen porches. The livingroom on the main level and family room on the lower level were both large enough for all six of us to sit together comfortably. It has a beautiful view on one side. The incline to the house is very steep but the parking area is large and level. We enjoyed playing pool together in the lower level. It is a private location on steep roads. Nowhere to walk on the roads but there are several hiking trails you can drive to in Bear Lake reserve."
