“Hôtel magnifique, autant niveau décoration que la qualité des infrastructures (piscines, restaurants…), la plage etc. Les chambres standards sont relativement spacieuses. Le personnel est très sympa mais parfois un peu lent dans le service. Le kids club n’est pas vraiment opérationnel, c’est dommage. ”

The food was so yummy I could write and a million great things about the location because the 3 days I spent there were not enough and am planing to return with my partner . “Everything about this place was 10/10! Food was delicious, customer service was top tier, and accommodations were clean. Everything down to the refreshing scents of the robes, no detail was missed. I had an over water villa with pool. The pool was clean and cleaned again during my 3 day stay. Highly recommend if staying in Zanzibar.”

“The best part about this hotel was that everything was all inclusive. Otherwise, it's a well-maintained hotel with few amenities and beautiful gardens, we stayed at the resort all day because it's a bit isolated from most of the activities. We enjoyed the food, although at some point we felt like the food menu was not changing much. Food was limited at the buffet. Otherwise, customer service was amazing.”

“We had a lovely and memorable stay at Upendo Beach Boutique Hotel. The location is simply beautiful, with breathtaking views and a peaceful ambiance. The staff were exceptional—especially Theo, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. Although I made an error in my booking by reserving the two-bedroom villa for only two adults, the hotel management showed great understanding. They kindly offered a generous solution by asking us to cover only 50% of the additional amount,……

“If you want to enjoy beaches on the East coast of Zanzibar, which are clean and not overcrowded, Breezes in Dongwe is a good place to go. For a half board and not an all inclusive hotel, Breezes is relatively expensive in comparison, because the room rates are high and you will pay every lunch and every drink extra. The food and the drinks are good but not as good as the room rate and the prices (to be paid in US Dollars) would suggest and it might not be the cook’s or the barman or barmaid’s……

“We had a lovely stay at this charming hotel. Its in a good location, and right on the beach making it easy to explore the local attractions, take boat trips and visit the nearby village. The staff were all really helpful, attentive and friendly. The pool and grounds are well maintained and the rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. The delicious food was fresh, locally sourced and plentiful - we sampled it all. We particularly enjoyed the floating breakfast on our last morning. Entertainment……
