“Lovely place. Good location. We were there for a wake following a cremation, and then an overnight stay. The staff were lovely and the food prepared for the wake and breakfast was very good. At a difficult time it was something at least we did not have to worry about. ”
“Stayed on a Friday night as we were at a family do. Perfect for us. Had the twin. Both beds comfortable - one softer than the other. Had everything we needed. There's limited on site parking but wasn't an issue for us as road restrictions finish early evening and there's no restrictions on the Sunday. The owner was attentive and helpful. Information sheet was perfect.

“Wonderful little hotel. I normally shy away from smaller hotels and go for the big name brands, but this hotel had good reviews and there were limited options in Margate. What a revelation. It’s a fabulous hotel. Every staff member I spoke to was friendly and welcoming. The bed was incredibly comfortable and they had thought of everything. I loved the little pantry for snacks, the radio and record players were nice touches and the robe and slippers are always welcome. The view was great too....

“Beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. “Loved this no frills historic hotel. No fuss - just texted me door code to the room, which was all in perfect order. The hotel is just opposite Deal's beautiful beach - if you get a sea view room you'll catch the sunrise. Great work by the hotel owners - shows you can run an historic hotel in a great location but still make it affordable to all visitors”

It was a really hot night and air conditioning wasn’t working, however a small tower fan had been put in room, but didn’t really cool it down!

“Lovely setting, you become part of history as the building and the square has so much history. Breakfast was freshly cooked and you had many choices if you did not fancy a full English. Ramsgate is a piece of France in the UK with a lovely harbour and fine restaurants to be found. Ramsgate has a lot history and lovely buildings that date back many hundreds of years. Great bus service to plan days in neighbouring villages and towns. ”
