I’ve stayed at La Posada since the 1980s and always had the best memories here however this visit was the opposite. First let me just say all the employees are super nice and top notch no complaints there but the hotel needs some serious renovations and love. Look the room was so dirty we didn’t want to take our shoes off, don’t even get me started about the furniture it was so gross and just down right dirty, the refrigerator was totally out of balance, I was so looking forward to the hot tub but no the hot tub was with no water and not working and the second swimming pool was so dirty and full algae. It was so disappointing and gross. I couldn’t believe this was Laredos beloved historical hotel, La Posada . If my grandpa was alive and saw the rooms and facilities he would think we were at a low-budget dumpy dirty out of date just really dirty hotel. Do better La Posada it’s a shame.

Me gusta mucho su ubicación ya que volamos al día sig , desayuno bueno . Y nos ayudaron hacer checkout tardío por el tema de mi vuelo . Amamos

This was the first time my wife, our 3 year old son, and I stayed at this beautiful hotel, and overall, we had a great experience. Our room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and exceeded our expectations. Since our son loves to run around and play, having so much room made our stay even more comfortable. The room truly felt like a home away from home. We did have a minor issue with the TV remote, which was responding slowly. We suspected the batteries were the problem, and we were right. We contacted the staff, and they brought replacement batteries within minutes. The issue was resolved quickly, and we appreciated their prompt service. I would have given this hotel a 5-star rating, but two significant issues affected our stay. First, the main reason we chose this hotel was because it advertised an indoor pool. Our plan was to swim on the day we arrived, especially because our son loves swimming. Unfortunately, the pool had no water when we arrived, which was disappointing. As a result, my wife and son were only able to enjoy the pool on one day instead of the two days we had planned. Second, one of the elevators was out of service throughout our stay, from Friday through Sunday. Since this is a six-story hotel, having both elevators operational is important for guests' convenience. Despite these two disappointments, we would stay here again. The hotel's location, cleanliness, spacious rooms, and responsive staff made it a positive experience overall.
