Although my experience with the flight itself was very good, the overall experience with Aer Lingus could have been better. Our first flight had a 2 hour delay that was not posted on the screen. The delay caused the loss of our connecting flight, having us wait for over 12 hours in Dublin for the next available one. There was no communication among Aer Lingus customer representatives. Every representative we spoke with was courteous to us but genuinely was unaware of what was going on with our flight reassignment. The phone application I had downloaded was useless in terms of providing actualized information. We witnessed other passengers having problems with their seats assignments. Fortunately once we boarded everything went well until we arrived our destination.
