This is a beautiful place to stay in St. John's, the room is clean and you can find so much details to look at. I especially loved how quiet it was, I had a really good night's sleep.
Bill is very nice and helpful with everything you need.

First time staying and I'm sure we'll be back! Staff were friendly and welcoming and quick to help with anything we needed. The pool was awesome and the slide was fun, I just wish the slide wasn't dark all the way down as it was a little unnerving for the kids. The breakfast was amazing! You get hot and cold options, which you don't see often as it's usually a continental breakfast.

Very dirty and run down in rooms and in amenities (pool, workout rooms) - rust, peeling paint, holes in walls, workout room with garbage on floors and no cleaning supplies for equipment post work out. Pool area very dark and poorly maintained - looks NOTHING like the pictures online. Very disappointing. Walkable to the sights but that doesn't make up for the decrepitude of the hotel itself. The lobby has clearly been remodelled and looks good, but time to spread the love to the rest of the hotel! Area of town is a bit colourful (I was asked if I wanted drugs as I went for morning walks), but not uncommon in any downtown location I imagine.

The hotel was old
Our bed was so old it was shaped like a bowl
The air conditioner kept running and the tv had issues
The area where the hotel is located is not in a good area related to safety
We had to leave three days early and check into another hotel
We told them we were checking out early and the staff didn’t seem to care
We asked if we could get some kind of refund and they said no
