To begin with, when we arrived, the person who assisted us did not give us a proper welcome or make us feel welcomed at the hotel. She did not provide us with any recommendations whatsoever, nor did she even show us where our room was located. We saw how the guests who were assisted before us were given information about the hotel, including when the happy hours were, where the pool was located, and a number of other details and amenities. None of that information was explained to us. In addition, I had specifically booked and paid for a room in the Coconut Wing with an ocean view. That was the reason I had chosen and paid for that particular room. When we arrived, I asked the young lady if she could please place us on the third or fourth floor, if there was availability. She told me that she could not do that, but said that she would place us in another room that was also directly facing the ocean. She explained that there were palm trees below the room, but that we would still be able to see the ocean from the room. I assumed that we would obviously remain on the same side of the hotel, given that I had specifically booked the Coconut Wing. However, that was not the case. She Placed us in the hammock wing and all the way to the end pretty much of that wing. But she never disclose this When we had already walked all the way to the room and realized that it was on the completely opposite side of the hotel(hammo
